Action Bronson at Miami Beach Bandshell
Action Bronson’s show at the Miami Beach Bandshell during Miami Art Week was a blast, blending his “Fuck, That’s Delicious” charisma with the raw energy of his music. As a fan who hopped on the Bronson train through his food adventures, missing an opportunity I’d had years back to see him live, catching him this time around was a treat.
Bronson brought his infectious energy to the stage, beaming with the same charisma that comes through the screen on his show. The connection between his TV persona and live music act was seamless, creating a unique and engaging experience. The crowd was hooked from the get-go, and the fact that Bronson signed sneakers and merch thrown onto the stage speaks volumes about the connection he has with his audience. Chance the Rapper’s cameo appearance was an added treat for us, coming out for the collab “Baby Blue.”
If there’s one gripe I had, it was the show’s brevity, with the whole thing only lasting a bit over an hour. Bronson has a diverse discography, and a longer set would’ve been killer, allowing for a deeper dive into his musical range. Nevertheless, the dude knows how to keep the energy high, and the audience was buzzing throughout. People were also notably friendly; I saw a guy leave his spot up front by the stage at least 3 times before the show started, and each time he returned to claim it uncontested.
The Bandshell was honestly a perfect fit for his show, with the crowd nicely packing the space without being uncomfortably full. It’s definitely grown to become one of my favorite live music venues in Miami. Check out my pictures from the show below:
