Full Moon Reset

Full Moon Reset

I’m not someone who tracks moon cycles or reads horoscopes with any real consistency, but I’ve certainly been intrigued by the ideas floating around in that realm.

Lately, I kept coming across mentions of this full moon as a “reset point,” a time to release whatever’s been keeping you stuck and to breathe in what you actually want to move toward. I don’t know if that’s cosmic truth or just good advice wrapped in celestial branding, but either way, it resonated.

I’ve felt heaviness for longer than I think I realize. The kind that builds quietly when you’re juggling too many projects and not pausing long enough to take stock. So tonight, instead of brushing it off, the plan is to go outside, look up, and try the simplest version of the ritual I’ve seen floating around: think about one thing you’re ready to let go of, and one thing you want to invite in. Nothing elaborate, just acknowledgment and intention.

I think it’s less about the moon itself and more about having a moment that forces reflection. Something outside of our routines that reminds us we’re part of a larger rhythm.

I don’t know if anything will shift in some metaphysical sense, but hopefully I’ll feel lighter at least. Maybe that’s the point. Whether it’s the pull of the moon or just the pull of self-awareness, taking time to let go, even briefly, clears space for something new.

So call it energy, call it psychology, call it placebo if you want. Whatever it is, I’ll take it. A quiet night, a deep breath, a little less weight to carry forward.
