About This Project

Buena Vista Gardens, a 2.2-acre apartment complex featuring over 80 units across multiple buildings, needed a revitalization to enhance the living experience for current residents and add value for eventual potential buyers. We took a comprehensive approach, including budget analysis and planning, detailed project timelines, and creative direction to ensure the murals reflected the rich cultural demographics of the neighborhood. We curated a selection of talented Haitian American and other local artists to transform the property with 5 murals total.

Our efforts paid off as residents engaged with the artists throughout the mural creation process, expressing gratitude and excitement. The vibrant murals became a focal point in multiple articles about the property’s sale, highlighting its unique appeal. The property successfully sold in 2021, with the murals continuing to celebrate and preserve the community’s identity. Buena Vista Gardens stands as a testament to how art can enhance real estate value and bolster community spirit.
