About This Project
The Pop Up Pianos Miami project premiered during Art Basel in December 2011, and was a collaborative effort that involved several key players, including The Black Key Group and Yo Miami. We were responsible for connecting with Steinway & Sons, who donated the 10 pianos that were used in the project. The pianos were painted by ten prominent local Miami artists including Lebo, Trek6, Brian Butler, GG, and AholSniffsGlue among others.
Our role was integral to the creative direction, artist selection, recruitment and management, along with elements of the marketing, PR, and partnership and sponsor development.
